Tobacco Station

I m curious as to what other RYO brands Tobacco Stations Premium FF is comparable to. Their 5lb bulk deal is tempting but I d hate to be stuck w/ that much baccy if I dont like it. Theres no sample program on their website. I ve been smoking D&R and PS mostly, is this as high quality? I ve read here that it might be Farmers Gold repackaged? Its not that cheap, and it does say premium. Any help would be appreciated.

I haven't tried the Tobacco Station Premium FF, although I am presently smoking my way through a 6 oz. bag of the Premium Ultralight. I can tell you this, as far as the ultralight goes. There is no way in hell it is Farmer's Gold repackaged. Gambler wins for most horrid aftertaste in my book, with Farmer's Gold taking second. If the Tobacco Station Premium Ultralight was repackaged Farmer's Gold, I would definitely know. It simply isn't possible given the taste.

PS doesn't impress me (I know, so shoot me), while D & R is among the best, in my opinion and in a class by itself. So I would rate Tobacco Station Ultralight right under D & R, but better than PS. Why don't you order a 6 ounce bag to try it out? The minimum order is $10. You can order a refill kit containing a 6 ounce bag and box of tubes for $9.70. If you add another box of tubes to your order, you will reach the $10 minimum. With shipping you will end up paying $21 roughly. Yes, that's high for 6 ounces of syo, but on the other hand, I would rather be sure I LIKE a tobacco before I order 5 pounds of it.
