Price Hikes coming?

I heard from a very good source that Robert Burton Associates/Imperial Tobacco Group/Commonwealth is raising their prices to dealers. I don't know any specifics, it might be one or two brands or it could be across the board.

So, if you've been eyeing a Supermatic but have been putting it off, you might want to get it soon. Other brands distributed by RBA are Club papers and tubes, ElRey, Escort, Premier and Rayo tubes and injectors. Also, Rizla papers, rollers, tubes and injectors.

I don't know about the tobacco, since the McClintock was just revamped I doubt it would see a price hike this soon, but there could be price increases coming for Bali Shag.

If you're in the Central Florida area, stop by a Low-Ball Louie's store. They're kinda half-assed at best and they seem to have a hard time keeping things stocked properly, but they currently have Supermatics for $30.00. Yes, Big Blues for 30 clams.

If price hikes are coming, maybe I outta buy 'em up and toss 'em out on the market after the price rise... ;-)

That's amazing. THey must be doing that to get people in the door cause they're more than that wholesale.

I stopped into one today and the models are some of the B's as well as some of the latest models. I asked the clerk why they were so cheap, and of course he didn't know--that's just what their price book says to mark 'em he said.

Oddly, the TOMs they had on hand were going for $47.95....
